Policegiri is the remake of Tamil film Sammy. Prachi Desai plays Sanjay Dutt's love interest in the film.

Major portions of the film were shot at Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad while some scenes were shot at Film City in Mumbai. The film is 90% complete and will release later this year.

Sanjay Dutt enjoys a light moment on the sets with co-producer Rahul Aggarwal.

Sanjay Dutt has done some deadly action sequences for this film which is sure to bring about a smile on the faces of his fans. Here the actor is seen with producer T.P.Aggarwal.

While Dutt plays a cop, Prakash Raj will be seen in a negative role yet again. Their confrontations are the highlight of the film.
