Speaking about this unique experience, John said, "The unveiling of the film was a thrilling experience, different from the usual unveilings I've done in the past." Commenting on his look in the film, John said, "My look in the film is very different and not something anyone has seen me in before. Jhootha Hi Sahi is an amazing film and I'm very excited about it. Abbas Tyrewala has done an awesome job."
The day ended with Abbas Tyrewala, the director of the film, wishing the crowds 'Ramzan Mubarak'. Incidentally Abbas' wife Pakhi stars opposite John in this flick.
For the onlookers and members of the media who had gathered at the event, the surprises didn't end there. When the first look of Jhootha Hi Sahi was unveiled no one could recognize John in the billboard. His look in the film is very different from his earlier looks. So to show that it was really him in the picture and not another photo-shopped miracle, John actually donned his look from the film by wearing a light blue formal shirt with glasses.
John, who is known for his fitness in the industry, was super excited at doing this dare-devil stunt to unveil the billboard of his forthcoming film. In fact the actor insisted that he would climb the building without any safety gear. However producers Sa Re Ga Ma, Madhu Mantena and director Abbas Tyrewala refused to take such a big risk and were very firm on John doing the stunt with all the safety precautions in place.
With each passing day, film marketing and promotions seem to take a whole new dimension. The latest in innovative marketing came from the makers of the forthcoming John Abraham starrer Jhoota Hi Sahi. In a first of its kind, the first look billboard poster of the film was unveiled in grand style with John climbing a four storey building and doing the needful.
