Sagar Ballary's upcoming comedy film Hum Tum Shabana, produced by Horseshoe Pictures and Alliance Entertainment, starring Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Minissha Lamba is slowly but surely garnering attention for its whacky and funny promos…and now we hear the producers have done something completely unique for their title track shoot for the film.
The lavishly shot song is a peppy beach themed one, with Tusshar Kapoor trying to woo Minissha and the actor is fully dressed a la Johnny Depp from the popular Pirates avatar. What's more is that the song will see Tusshar dressed as a Pirate but dancing to the trademark steps of his dad Jeetendra.
Says the actor, "The whole idea was conceptualized by the producers and choreography team. I have to woo Minissha in the song and I change avatars and dance to do the same! It was the choreographer Adil's idea to have me in Johnny's Pirate (The Pirates Of The Caribbean) outfit and the project coordinator, Rafiq Kazi, a fan of dad, suggested a Jeetendra take-off. It was a Herculean task; there are 100 different things to do, from the braids and the sling, to the pyjamas and the waistcoat." -

Sources say that quite a few people on the beach actually thought the great Hollywood actor was in their midst. When Tusshar finally stepped out looking like Johnny and broke into a Jeetu jig, the crowds on the beach went crazy. "We had a lot of fun, but thank God it was the last shot of the day. I wouldn't have wanted to go through the ordeal of getting into that get-up again. Hats off to Mr. Depp," says the actor.
Well, we must say Tusshar Kapoor carries off the look quite nicely. Catch the rollercoaster comedy as it releases September 23.
