Ajith to resume shoot for Valimai on October 25 : Bollywood News

Tamil star Ajith is all set to resume shooting for his upcoming film titled Valimai. This is Ajith's 60th film and marks his second collaboration with director H Vinoth. The film had gone on floors in December 2019.

Before the coronavirus pandemic spread in India and the lockdown was announced the makers of the film had planned to shoot some high octane stunt sequences in Spain with Ajith. However, it had to be postponed.

Now, Ajith will fly to Hyderabad and start filming from October 25. Reportedly, the makers are panning on completing the shoot by the year end as they have already completed 60 percent of the shoot.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team had resumed shooting a month ago. Actor Karthikeya Gummakonda, who plays the antagonist in the film, had started shooting in September.

The film also has Huma Qureshi in the lead who recently wrapped up the shoot of her Hindi film Bellbottom starring Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta as well. Valimai is one of the most anticipated films of Ajith and is being produced by Boney Kapoor.
