Arya marked a turning point in Arjun's career, propelling him to stardom. Directed by Sukumar in his directorial debut, the film resonated with audiences and established Arjun as a leading Telugu actor. The film also features Anu Mehta and Siva Balaji in pivotal roles. In 2009, the film had its sequel Arya 2.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun and Sukumar are gearing up for yet another sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule. Following 2022’s hit, the film will release on August 15, 2024.
