Allu Arjun was accused of gathering a large crowd outside the residence of MLA Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy during his recent visit.

Allu Arjun recently was seen extending his best wishes and showcasing his support as family to actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, who incidentally is also the uncle of the Pushpa star. After that, the Telugu superstar decided to wish another friend from the political industry which is MLA Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy and even paid him a visit to Nandyala during the ongoing electoral campaign. However, this short trip has resulted in a case being against registered against Arjun, prompting the need to clarify his visit.

It seems that a complaint was filed by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party and Deputy Tehsildar P Ramachandra Rao from Nandyala has registered the case. In this, it has been alleged that Allu Arjun along with MLA Silpa Ravi Chandra have violated the rules by gathering a large crowd outside Ravi’s residence, ahead of the elections on May 13. However, in a statement given by the Telugu actor, he has asserted that he decided to go to the town to visit his friend and he made this choice on his own. "I came here on my own. Among my friends, in whichever field they are in, I will step up and help them if they need my help. It doesn't mean I am backing or supporting any political party,” he was quoted saying to India Today.

For the unversed, on May 11, Allu Arjun took to his official handle on social media X, formerly known as Twitter, wherein he wrote, “"I came here on my own. Among my friends, in whichever field they are in, I will step up and help them if they need my help. It doesn't mean I am backing or supporting any political party." On the other hand, his friend Reddy too had expressed his gratitude post Arjun’s arrival wherein he had stated, “A heartfelt thank you to my friend @alluarjun for traveling all the way to Nandyal to wish me the best in my election. Your unwavering support means everything to me, and I'm so grateful for our friendship!”


On the work front, Allu Arjun fans are eagerly waiting to see him return to theatres with another intriguing venture which is a sequel to the Pushpa: The Rise, which is Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film, also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, is slated for release on August 15.
