Allu Arjun starts filming for Pushpa in an Andhra Pradesh forest; says it is one of a kind film : Bollywood News

Allu Arjun has started the principal photography of his action drama film Pushpa. The film was officially announced in April on the superstar's birthday. The project was delayed by months because of the pandemic and is now on floors. The makers have started shooting in the thick forest of Maredumilli in Andhra Pradesh on November 10.

Directed by Sukumar, the film revolves around the smuggling of the red sandalwood that grows only in a small part of India and has medicinal properties. The film has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

Talking to a magazine, Allu Arjun said that it is first of its kind film as it has a very unique and international appeal which is set in a very rooted story. The actor said that they are taking all the health precautions but are also striving for the quality of the film.

Pushpa will be released in 2021 in the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
