Amaran: New Teaser introduces audiences to Sai Pallavi as Indhu; explores her chemistry with Sivakarthikeyan

The film is produced by Kamal Haasan and is inspired by the story of 'Major Varadarajan’ which featured in Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book, 'India’s Most Fearless’.

The makers of the highly anticipated film Amaran have released an impactful promo amid excitement among audience. Being a war drama, the film features Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in leads and is inspired by true events. Considering that it also marks the collaboration of the actor with Ulaganayakan Kamal Haasan as the producer along with the storyline based on fearless Indian soldier Major Mukund Varadharajan, it has garnered much excitement among audiences.

The one-minute twenty-two-second video opens with Prime Minister Modi presenting the Ashok Chakra to Indhu as they slowly introduce the audience to the character played by Sai Pallavi, her liveliness, and her support towards her army officer husband along with showcasing glimpses of the poignant love story of Mukund and Indhu. Set against the backdrop of a battle brewing on the borders of India and Pakistan, Amaran is a tribute to the bravery of Vardharajan but also explores some sweet moments of him and his wife Indhu. One among is the unique way she refers to Mukund throughout the film. These combined with high-octane war sequences that was released in the teaser several months ago, have certainly piqued audience’s interest ahead of the film’s release next month.

Amaran also stars Rahul Bose and Bhuvan Arora in pivotal characters, along with Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman and Gaurav Venkatesh in key supporting roles. Promising to be a moving tribute to love, sacrifice, and resilience, Amaran tells the inspiring story of Major Mukund Varadharajan and his wife Indhu, capturing their journey through love and loss.

Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran, and Sony Pictures International Productions, with God Bless Entertainment as a co-producer, the film is based on the story 'Major Varadarajan’ which featured in Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book, 'India’s Most Fearless'. It is slated to release on October 31, during the occasion of Diwali.
