Bollywood filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap is set to make his Malayalam film debut with Aashiq Abu's upcoming project, Rifle Club. The film promises a high-octane ride with a first-look poster that introduces Sooraj Cherukat, known by his stage name Hanumankind, as Bheera, Anurag's on-screen son.
The poster, shared by Kashyap himself, features Hanumankind in a menacing pose, sunglasses perched atop his head as he wields a gun. The intense gaze and the weapon create an atmosphere of suspense and intrigue, hinting at the gritty world the film is set to explore. He wrote, “Introducing @hanumankind as Bheera ???? My volatile son. #RifleClubMovie Hitting theatres soon!”

Kashyap's involvement in the Malayalam film industry is not entirely new. He has previously produced critically acclaimed Malayalam films like Moothon and Paka (River of Blood). However, Rifle Club marks his first foray into acting in Malayalam cinema.
The film is produced by OPM Cinemas in association with TRU Stories Entertainment. With a strong creative team behind it, including Aashiq Abu as director and a screenplay by Sharfu-Suhas, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Syam Pushkaran, expectations are high.
Meanwhile, Hanumankind is making waves globally. His song with Kalmi, ‘Big Dawgs’ continues to defy expectations and shatter records. Released on July 9, the track has rapidly ascended to international stardom, making waves across multiple platforms and outperforming global music giants.
The song's most recent achievement is its placement above Kendrick Lamar's ‘Not Like Us’ on Spotify's Top 50 Global chart. It has secured a spot on the Billboard Hot 100, a first for both Hanumankind and Kalmi, and continues to climb YouTube's Top 100 Music Videos Global chart. Additionally, it reigns supreme on Apple Music's all-genres chart in India and holds a commendable position on the global chart.
