BREAKING: Teaser of Prabhas-starrer Salaar to be out in last week of May 2022

Director Prashanth Neel unveiled his much-awaited film KGF - Chapter 2 today. It has had a historic opening and its blockbuster success along with the popularity of the first half has made him one of the biggest directors of India. As a result, the excitement is tremendous for his next film, Salaar. The fact that he is collaborating with superstar Prabhas has added to its hype.

Last week, there were reports that the teaser of Salaar will be included with the prints of KGF - Chapter 2. The news spread like wildfire as almost everyone is waiting to see its glimpse and to see what Prashanth Neel is up to after the gigantic KGF.

However, it has now come out that the teaser of Salaar will be out next week. As per the information given out, Hombale Films, the producers of the KGF franchise and also that of Salaar, will unveil the promo of the Prabhas-starrer in the last week of May. In other words, fans will have to wait for nearly 1 ½ month to see the visuals of this massy film.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Last week, the exhibitors had got a list of promos that have been attached with KGF - Chapter 2, and it included Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s teaser, Brahmastra’s motion poster, and Salaar’s teaser. This information and the duration of each promo are given out so that the exhibitors can space out shows and schedule accordingly. However, for some reason, the plans to unveil Salaar’s teaser must have been dropped by the makers later on.” Bollywood Hungama was the first one to break the news that the promos of the aforementioned films will be shown before the start of KGF - Chapter 2 in cinemas.

Besides Prabhas, Salaar also stars Shruti Haasan. It was initially scheduled for release on April 14, 2022, but the pandemic led to postponements. Recently, there were reports that Prabhas will undergo knee surgery, and hence, he will be out of action for a few months. It is being said that this will further delay the final schedule of Salaar.
