Chiranjeevi opens up on his future plans at the Waltair Veerayya event; says he wants to settle in Vizhag

Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja attended a massive promotional event of Waltair Veerayya in Vizag where the megastar spoke about the film.

South stars Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, will be joining hands with director Bobby Kolli, and Mythri Movie Makers for Waltair Veerayya and the collaboration has created much anticipation. After a great response to the trailer and the songs, a massive pre-event too was planned with the release date nearing, in Vizag and not surprisingly, it had a massive crowd in attendance.

At the event, Chiranjeevi recalled how he loved the script the first time he heard it. “I was impressed with the story the first time itself and immediately said, ‘Okay let’s do it’. Let me tell ou that I did not give Bobby a chance because he is my fan. He thoroughly impressed me with the story. He excelled as a storyteller, writer, screenplay writer, and director. He lived up to my expectations. Now, I have become a fan of Bobby and I am proud of him.”

He continued, “Mythri Movie makers are legendary producers on par with Rama Naidu, Allu Aravind, Aswini Dutt, and KS Ramarao. They produced the film uncompromisingly and are releasing two films same time without fear and trusting content. I wish both films will be successful.”

He went on to add about the film saying, “Coming to Waltair Veerayya, we have tried to maintain the level of the scenes as per Hollywood standards. Ravi Teja and my episodes will definitely be spellbinding. Do not miss his entry! Waltair Veerayya will have a high moment every ten minutes. Every scene is unique and there are so many thrills. Everyone is going to be sitting on the edge of their seat. We worked with one goal to make the movie a super duper hit.”

Ravi Teja too added to it, “I am saying not ‘All The Best’ but ‘Congrats’ to the actors and technicians of this film because the movie will sure shot be a blockbuster. When I was just a fanboy, I told my friends I will work with Annayya one day. From playing his brother in Annayya’s movie to sharing the screen with him in Waltair Veerayya, every moment with Chiranjeevi is a matter of pride. He loves me very much.”

Explaining further about his equation with the filmmaker, he said, “I got introduced to Bobby during Balupu and later he made Power with me. I firmly believe that he will go to the next level with this one. Devi is known for his blockbuster music and definitely he has maintained the same in Waltair Veerayaa. We will definitely see you again in the success meet," he confidently concluded.

Starring Shruti Haasan as the leading lady, the film is slated to release on January 13 during the occasion of Makar Sankranti.
