Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer Acharya release moved to April 29 after RRR finalizes March 25 as their release date : Bollywood News

Soon after the team of RRR announced that their film will be hitting the theatres on March 25, the team of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer Acharya postponed the release date of their film. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Acharya would be released on April 1, 2022. However, with SS Rajamouli's RRR which also stars Ram Charan in the lead is releasing on March 25, the makers of Acharya decided to push the release date of their film.

On Monday evening, the team of Kortala Siva's Acharya took to social media to make the official announcement. "After a healthy discussion and on mutual understanding, we would be releasing Acharya on April 29 as RRR would be hitting the screens on March 25."

Acharya was initially supposed to hit the theatres in May last year. However, it was postponed to February 4 this year and was later postponed to April 1 and now the makers have fixed on April 29 to accommodate the release of the magnum opus RRR.

For Telugu movie fans, the film is one of the most anticipated of the year because it would be the first time that father-son combination Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan will be seen in full-fledged roles together. The film features Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hedge as Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan's love interests, with music by Mani Sharma and cinematography by S. Thirunavukkarasu.
