Chiyaan Vikram, who earned a lot of love and praise in Ponniyin Selvan, has multiple releases in pipeline. Adding to the anticipation, the superstar took to social media to tease fans with another announcement. On October 28, the actor promised his followers that an update is all set to arrive about his next, which is currently being referred to as Chiyaan62. The untitled film will be directed by SU Arun Kumar and it is also expected to be a musical by GV Prakash.

Taking to social media, Chiyaan Vikram shared multiple posts regarding the announcement which was expected to be made last evening. From sharing the first post to tease fans with the upcoming ‘Surprise Surprise’, the actor was seen doing a countdown of sorts. Eventually, he put an end to the curiosity by posting the link for an announcement video of his new venture. The announcement video was released like a teaser of sorts wherein audiences can’t really the avatar of Vikram but it features glimpses of the actor in his dhoti-clad look.

Set against the backdrop of a rural area, Chiyaan Vikram is seen picking a fight with a few small-time goons at a police station. But his strength and powerful mannerisms catch the officials a little off-guard and they are slightly inhibited to stop him from bashing people. The same video, later, features Vikram being a friendly neighbour as he navigates amid the crowd and festivities in the village, in a bicycle. He is also seen as a doting dad, who is seen enquiring about his child’s well-being to someone on the phone and promising his family that he will reach home soon.

Chiyaan62 is expected to go on floors soon. Speaking about his other projects, the actor has Dhruva Natchathiram and Thangalan in the pipeline for release.
