Chiyaan Vikram starrer Chiyaan 62 gets its title as Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 : Bollywood News

While his next titled Thangalaan has been garnering ample buzz and curiosity, Chiyaan Vikram fans had another reason to rejoice on his birthday, which was on April 17. The makers of his untitled next, which was being referred to as Chiyaan 62, finally found its title and the announcement of the same was made on this special occasion on Wednesday. The film has been titled as Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 as the franchise makes a return after eight years.

Along with the title, the makers also unveiled a poster as well as a teaser which is three-minutes long. The clip showcases a glimpse of how a few men from a corner in Tamil Nadu are plotting against a man outside a local grocery store. They are, however, shocked to see Vikram, who makes a stealthily but impactful entry with a rifle, leaving them all shocked. The ‘fiery teaser’ as described by the makers was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption that read, “#Chiyaan62 is now #VeeraDheeraSooran Part -2, Wishing our dearest @chiyaan a very happy birthday! Presenting the fiery title teaser for you all”. The post also had the entire team including the crew who were tagged along with the cast.

Apart from this, birthday boy Vikram also took to the social media platform to unveil the latest set of posters from the film. He captioned it saying, “If you’re a Gangsta… I’m a Monsta!!”

For the unversed, the 2016 drama, which was the first part of the franchise, featured Vishnu Vishal as the protagonist. However, in this 2024 film, along with Chiyaan Vikram, Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 also stars SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, among others. The music is composed by GV Prakash along with Theni Eswar as the cinematographer, Prasanna GK as the film editor, and C.S. Balachander as the Art Director of the film. Written and directed by S.U. Arun Kumar, the film is produced by Riya Shibhu.
