Devara actors Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor to film a song in Thailand : Bollywood News

Amid many releases which are pushing their dates even further, the Kortala Siva film Devara: Part 1 has been preponed leaving cinephiles quite excited. Being one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2024, as the film is in its near completion stage, we hear that Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor will be shooting for a melodious song and that too in the picturesque locales of Thailand.

Considering that this marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor as well as her first on-screen collaboration between Jr NTR, the makers are keen on doing something special, reveal sources close to the film. Hence, they decided to choose a song, which going by the description, seems to be a romantic number of sorts. While the film is set against the backdrop of ocean, details of what the song would be like is currently being kept under wraps.

Jr NTR recently shot an intense sequence with Saif Ali Khan

Not too long ago, the DOP of the film, Rathnavelu applauded the entire team for their hard work and dedication after they supported him and the cast including Jr NTR for completing an intense action sequence with Saif Ali Khan under challenging weather conditions, including heavy rain in Goa. The Telugu megastar is expected to have returned post completing the shoot and is soon expected to take off to Thailand to complete the song as well.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara is a magnum opus that will unfold in two parts. The film is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and is presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. Readers would be aware that along with Janhvi Kapoor, the film also marks the Telugu debut of Saif Ali Khan too. The musical score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with R Rathnavelu handling the cinematography. The film is scheduled to release on September 27 in five languages including Hindi.
