Promising that these action sequences, which is form an integral part of Devara: Part 1, will be one of the most talked-about scenes in recent times, Jr NTR explained that the shoot was both physically and mentally challenging. Speaking candidly in a recent interaction he and his team had with Animal filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga wherein they discussed several aspects of this Kortala Siva directorial, Jr NTR said, "The film is extremely high on both action and drama, so I would describe Devara as an 'action-drama.”

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who was recently in Goa, chimed in saying, “During a recent visit to South Goa, a manager mentioned something surprising about the action sequences—he said they’re so intense that they could stand alone as a full movie.”  “Since the film is centred around both action and drama, it might be worth discussing this further. Additionally, Saif sir has also been involved in some phenomenal action sequences himself," added Jr NTR.

We hear that the action sequences were designed to be both visually spectacular and emotionally gripping and is expected to be a key highlight of the film. Jr NTR also praised the collaborative spirit of the cast and crew, as he shared, "We worked with Peter Miles on the action sequences, along with Solomon and Kenny Bates. They have crafted some incredibly large and intense scenes, and it was a lot of fun to be part of that. The action is raw and powerful, reflecting the fierce battles between the leaders of four different villages vying for ancestral weapons. Some of the sequences even involve a blood sacrifice to the gods, adding a mythological layer. Overall, the experience was both physically demanding and deeply immersive."

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara is expected to release in two parts and the film series also marks the Telugu debut of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Devara: Part 1 will be hitting cinemas worldwide on September 27, 2024 in South languages and Hindi.
