When asked by the host why he chose Chennai as a stop for the film's promotion, Jr NTR responded saying, "Today, especially after RRR & Baahubali, we are divided by language, but not by cinema anymore. It’s not Kollywood, Sandalwood, Bollywood, or Tollywood anymore. We speak different languages, but we are united by one word: cinema." The event concluded on a light-hearted note when the actor joked, “I wanted to go have biryani, but because of you, I’m running late to the airport, so I’ll have to go directly there!” His playful remark definitely left the audiences in splits as they cheered and hooted for the popular star.

Already generating significant buzz, Devara is expected to be a memorable cinematic experience that boasts of high-octane action, compelling narrative, breathtaking underwater sequences. Set against the backdrop of the sea, the film is directed by Koratala Siva, and it is expected to mark the Telugu debut of popular Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Devara: Part 1 is slated to hit cinemas on September 27 not just in Telugu but also in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
