Dhanush and estranged wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth have an exchange on Twitter, actor praises her new song ‘Payani’ by saying ‘congrats my friend’

Tollywood superstar Dhanush is all praise for estranged wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth’s latest song ‘Payani’. The actor took to Twitter on Thursday and shared the song’s video along with a pulled up praise for Aishwaryaa.

“Congrats my friend @ash_r_dhanush on your music video #payani. God bless,” said Dhanush’s tweet. Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth soon retweeted Dhanush‘s post and wrote, “Thank you Dhanush….Godspeed.”

‘Payani’ is Aishwaryaa’s directorial music project. The Tamil song has been sung by Anirudh, with music by Ankit Tiwari, and lyrics by Viveka. It features actors Jani Master and Shrasti Verma. The love ballad narrates a story of two lovers from a modest family background, who steal moments for each other from their daily lives. All they hope for is to attain each other’s dreams and desires, even if it implies trying to make ends meet.

‘Payani’ is also the directorial comeback of Aishwaryaa, whose first project was with her ex husband Dhanush in 2012.
