Dhanush starrer Karnan to release in theatres in April 2021 : Bollywood News

With the Indian government allowing theatres to operate with 100% capacity from February 1, makers have now started to announce the release dates of their upcoming projects. Dhanush starrer Karnan has been the first to announce the theatrical release of the film post the governments's latest COVID-19 guidelines for movie theatres.

Dhanush starrer Karnan to release in theatres in April 2021

The makers of Karnan took to their social media handle to share the release announcement teaser of the film. Sharing the video, the makers said that the film will be released in April 2021. However, the makers did not reveal the final date.

The teaser shows Dhanush running on a hill top in a jungle with a sword dressed in a banyan and lungi. We see him standing atop a hill and looking down while a very intriguing background music plays.

The shoot for the film directed by Mari Selvaraj was wrapped up in December. The film has Rajisha Vijayan playing the female lead. Lal, Natty, Yogi Babu play important roles in the film. Santhosh Narayanan has composed music for the music for the film.
