Tamil superstar Vijay is set to kick off New Year with the release of Master in theatres. A day ago, director Lokesh Kanagaraj shared new posters to confirm that the film will release on January 13.

Adding to that, actor Dhanush hopes that this film brings back the theatre culture again since the cinemas were shut throughout the pandemic. In a tweet, Dhanush wrote, "Vijay sir’s Master releases on Jan 13th. It’s great news for cinema lovers and I hope watching movies with friends and family helps to thrive the theatre culture once again. Nothing like a theatre experience. Please take all the safety precautions and watch the film in theatres!”

Master will release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The Hindi version will hit the screens on January 14. Produced by Xavier Britto, the film stars Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, MalavikaMohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and Arjun Das in key roles.
