Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 has smashed all the records at the box office. The sequel marks the return of Kannada superstar in form of Rocky Bhai with Sanjay Dutt as antagonist, Adheera. Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty also play pivotal roles. As the film has sky-rocketed when it comes to box-office openings, theatre chains are opening up more shows due to demand.
A source tells Bollywood Hungama, “KGF – Chapter2’s demand is definitely an added bonus to theatres that are seeing massive increase in audience post-pandemic. With South movies going pan-India with every release, the loyal fans are ensuring they watch their favourite stars’ movies on the big screen. With that being said, upon seeing the opening day response, theatre chains across some key territories and circuits are arranging special shows for KGF – Chapter 2 between 12 midnight and 7 in the morning. This is a treat for the fans due to massive demand and ticket pressure. The special screenings will be from Day 2 to Day 4 of the opening weekend of the masala entertainer.”
The film has been released in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. K.G.F. – Chapter 2 is written and directed by Prashanth Neeland produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner. The film is being presented in North-Indian markets by RiteshSidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and AA Films.
