After much anticipation, the much-awaited trailer of the forthcoming film of Thalapathy Vijay titled Greatest of All Time aka G.O.A.T and retitled as Thalapathy is the G.O.A.T in Hindi was unveiled after a long wait on August 17. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film will feature the Tamil megastar in multiple characters as a spy who is out on a dangerous mission. With an extensive supporting cast of Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Prashanth, Sneha, among others, the trailer aims at providing a glimpse into what promises to be one of the year's biggest cinematic spectacles.

Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh of AGS Entertainment, G.O.A.T is a fiction action thriller touted to be mounted on a exorbitant budget for a Tamil film, bringing together the trio of Prabhudheva, Prashanth and Thalapathy Vijay for the first time. The 25th film of AGS entertainment will feature music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. In a recent interview, director Venkat Prabhu shed light on the film's intriguing plot, stating, "G.O.A.T is a fictional story, but we have made it closer to reality. Vijay and his core team are a part of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad, a wing of RAW. What they did in the past becomes a problem in the present. How Vijay and his team face these challenges forms the core of the story." The film's plot centres around four RAW agents whose past actions come back to haunt them, setting the stage for a high-stakes action drama. This narrative, combined with Vijay’s powerful performance, promises to deliver a thrilling cinematic experience.

Also starring Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Laila, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Yugendran, VTV Ganesh, and Aravind Akash, G.O.A.T aka Thalapathy is the G.O.A.T is slated to release on September 5 in IMAX format in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages, with Zee Studios distributing it across North Indian states.
