Fans of Ram Charan are eagerly awaiting to see what the Telugu superstar has in store for them as he marks his grand comeback into theatres with Game Changer, after the highly successful and internationally acclaimed SS Rajamouli film RRR. The pan India actor is gearing up for another massy entertainer with none other than popular filmmaker S Shankar in this entertainer that also stars Bollywood actress Kiara Advani. However, fans of the actor are quite upset since buzz was that the film was being postponed yet again after it was announced to be releasing on Christmas. And now, producer Dil Raju has reacted to these reports.

Readers would be aware that Game Changer has been one of the highly anticipated releases this year and after initially being scheduled for April release, it was further pushed to Dussehra and then to Christmas. Followed by that few reports continued to assert that the film may be releasing next year. But putting an end to these rumours, Dil Raju was quoted speaking to News18 regarding the same, wherein he said, “The shoot is complete and we’re releasing the film during Christmas this year. I’m definitely expecting this film to change the images of Shankar sir and Ram Charan. It touches upon an aspect of Indian politics and explores a social theme. I’m hoping it will strike a chord with the audience and will be a big success.”

He went on to add, “Shankar sir has done this kind of a film earlier but after Robot, he changed his style of storytelling. But he’s going back to what he was known for with Game Changer after a long time. It’s a typical hero-villain film. It has five songs that will be a visual treat for the audience. We’re confident that the film will get very good results.”

Game Changer that marks the second film of Ram Charan and Kiara Advani after Vinaya Vidheya Rama in 2019, also stars S. J. Suryah, Srikanth, Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Samuthirakani and Nassar. The film revolves an IAS officer’s struggle to conduct fair elections in a corrupt society and it will be releasing in multiple languages including Hindi.
