As the fans of the stars and the entire country are celebrating the historic win, Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to congratulate the team.

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has all the reasons to celebrate as RRR made history at the 2023 Golden Globes in Los Angeles held on January 10. For the uninitiated, the RRR song, ‘Naatu Naatu’ and the film itself were nominated in Best Original Song and Best Foreign Film categories, respectively. Music composer M.M. Keeravani won the Best Original Song award at the coveted ceremony in LA and the team of RRR was ecstatic to witness the glorious. As the fans of the stars and the entire country are celebrating the historic win, Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to congratulate the team.

It started with Pathaan trailer launch on Tuesday when RRR star Ram Charan unveiled the Telugu version of the trailer. Shah Rukh Khan thanked him for his sweet gesture and said that he hopes RRR wins Oscars this year. “Thank u so much my Mega Power Star @alwaysramcharan. When ur RRR team brings Oscar to India, please let me touch it!! (Mee RRR team Oscar ni intiki tecchinappudu okkasaari nannu daanini touch cheyyanivvandi! ) Love you.”

Rajamouli responded to SRK’s tweet thanking him for his wishes to the team and congratulated him on Pathaan. “The trailer looks fab. The King returns!!! Lots of ❤ @iamsrk. All the best to the entire team of Pathaan.”

The film was nominated in the Best Picture – Non-English Language category. It was competing against All Quiet on the Western Front, Argentina, 1985, Close and Decision to Leave. The second nomination was for the RRR song 'Naatu Naatu' in the Best Original Song – Motion Picture category. The song was competing against 'Carolina' from Where the Crawdads Sing, 'Ciao Papa' from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, 'Hold My Hand' from Top Gun: Maverick and 'Lift Me Up' from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
