In a collaborative effort to honour Sandeep Unnikrishnan's memories, superstars from the biggest entertainment industries of India, Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be launching the teaser of Major in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam respectively. After much anticipation, the makers of Major unveiled the trailer of the film on May 9, Monday, tracing the inspirational journey of the army officer and his bravery and sacrifice in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

At the press conference, Mahesh Babu said that the Hindi film industry can't afford him even if given opportunity to debut in Bollywood. The Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor said, "I did get a lot of offers in Hindi, but I don't think they can afford me. I don't want to waste my time working in an industry which can't afford me. The stardom and the respect I get here [in South] is huge, so I never really thought of leaving my industry and going to some other industry. I have always thought of doing films and becoming bigger. My dream is coming true now and I can't be happier."

Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, and stars Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma and will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam on June 3, 2022.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is awaiting the release of Sarkaru Vaari Paata releasing on May 12, 2022.
