Two days ago, on the day of the major Kalki event in Mumbai, Amitabh Bachchan touched the feet of the producer on stage.

Earlier this week, the entire core cast of Kalki 2898 AD comprising of Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan came together to attend a massive event in Mumbai. While the event saw a massive response from the crowd who showcased their excitement for the sci-fi drama, Mr. Bachchan left the onlookers surprised by his gesture when he touched the feet of producer Ashwini Dutt.

Followed by this, he left Dutt surprised by touching his feet. Post that, the latter decided to pen a heartfelt note for the megastar and took to X, aka Twitter, to share the post which read, “Nothing is higher or taller than the invincible Shri Amitabh Ji. Such moments from yesterday’s event are quite unexpected and shockingly puzzling. His utmost love for me must have pushed him to do what he did. I reciprocate to Amitabh ji’s gesture in humility with his highest sense of magnanimity.”

Further it said, “Few moments in life are sacred emblems of eternal bond, and such was his gesture of purity yesterday. I do solemnly salute his ultimate ethereal touch. Kudos to Amitabh Bachchan Ji – The legend of all centuries.”

About Kalki 2898 AD

The sci-fi drama is set against the backdrop of a fictional post-apocalyptic dystopian era where a bounty hunter Bhairava sets out on a mission to protect a pregnant Sumathi from the evil clutches of people who are out to get her and her baby. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwattama along with Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in key roles. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, releases in cinemas on June 27 in multiple languages including Hindi.
