Kamal Haasan tests positive for COVID-19 after returning from the USA

Actor Kamal Haasan who recently returned from a trip to the USA has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor-politician took to his social media handle to inform his followers about the dame. He revealed that he had 'slight cough' after returning from the USA. He got tested for the COVID-19 and the results came positive.

Haasan is currently isolated in the hospital. Informing about his COVID-19 diagnosis in a tweet, Kamal also wrote that “the pandemic is not over yet and everyone has to be careful”.

On the work front, Kamal has been shooting for the film Vikram which marks his 232nd film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi. Two weeks back, on Haasan's birthday, the makers had shared a teaser video of the film featuring the actor in his action avatar. Vikram is being produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raajkamal Films International. The music of the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
