Gnanavel Raja was asked, about the trend of Rs. 1000 cr. collection becoming the new topic of K-Town and whether is he sure Kanguva will create history by becoming the first Rs. 1000-Cr Tamil Movie, he replied, "I intend to submit the GST from Studio Green and provide the appropriate documentation regarding the Kanguva Box Office Collection. In the future, all interested parties may verify this information with other producers to ensure they are aware of the genuine Box Office collection reports"

Moreover, when he was asked, Are you confident that Kanguva will achieve the milestone of entering the Rs. 1000 cr club in box office collections?, he said, "I am expecting an Rs. 2000 cr BO collection, and why are you underestimating it with Rs. 1000 cr-mark."
