In return of the love that fans have been showering on him all day, filmmakers of the superstar’s upcoming projects decided to treat them with some intriguing surprises. Among them was filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj who is collaborating with the actor for the untitled next, that is currently being referred to as Suriya 44.

While an announcement teaser of Suriya 44 was unveiled last month that garnered much anticipation from fans, who were curious to know more about the film, seems to have gotten their wish fulfilled. The teaser released by the filmmaker on the social media platform X, aka Twitter, gives everyone a deeper insight into the strong, ruthless gangster avatar the superstar will be portraying in the film. Furthermore, as it leaves audiences with the message ‘Somewhere in the sea, a love, a laughter, a war, awaits the one”, the teaser concludes with another interesting announcement stating that the ‘title teaser’ will be introduced soon, adding to the anticipation surrounding the commercial entertainer.

Co-starring Pooja Hegde as the leading lady, the film features Jayaram, Karunakaran, Joju George, Sujith Shankar, Thamizh, Ramachandran Durairaj, Prem Kumar, Sandeep Raj and Remya Suresh in key roles. With music composed by Santhosh Narayan, the film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna, film editor Shafique Mohamed Ali, along with action choreographed by Kecha Khamphakdee. Produced by Stone Bench Films and 2D Entertainment, the film is expected to have shot extensively in Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India and the release date of the same is yet to be announced.
