Makers of Nani starrer Hi Nanna to kick off its album release with the song ‘Samayama’ On September 16

Mrunal Thakur is all set to feature in her second Telugu venture titled Hi Nanna, alongside Nani, which traces the relationship of a father and a daughter.

The musical gala of Nani, Mrunal Thakur starrer Pan India film Hi Nanna is all set to begin. On September 14, the makers announced the date to unveil the first song of the movie titled ‘Samayama’, which will be out on September 16. Along with this, the makers also unveiled a poster wherein Nani looks ecstatic as he spreads his arms with glee.

A source close to the film confirmed the details adding, “Samayama is a beautiful and magical melody. The makers wanted a poetic number to kick off the album and hence, they decided to give a glimpse of this album with this number.” However, we are not sure if this track will focus on Mrunal Thakur or if it revolves around Nani and his onscreen daughter, played by Baby Kiara Khanna.

For the unversed, Hi Nanna is expected to be a family entertainer that revolves around the relationship between a doting father-daughter duo with Mrunal Thakur essaying a pivotal role. While earlier, the makers unveiled a short teaser to introduce audiences to the leading characters of the film, they decided to release audio, in order to give them a further insight into the film.

Directed by debutant Shouryuv and produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala on Vyra Entertainments, Hi Nanna has music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The rest of the technical team includes Sanu John Varughese ISC - the cinematographer, editor Praveen Anthony, Avinash Kolla as the production designer, as well as Satish EVV as the executive producer.

The film is expected to have been shot across multiple cities including Mumbai and it is expected to release on the big screen by the end of this year on December 21 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
