Manju Warrier signs her third Tamil film Mr. X with Arya : Bollywood News

Manju Warrier, who is known for her popular Malayalam films, is all set to expand her repertoire in Tamil cinema. The actress has signed her third Tamil film after the Dhanush starrer Asuran (2019) as well as the recent Thunivu (2023) with Ajith Kumar. Manju has come on board for the Manu Anand directorial titled Mr. X, featuring Tamil star Arya as the leading man and Gautham Karthik in a pivotal role.

Arya, who is married to Bollywood-South actress Sayyesha Saigal, will be seen pitted against Gautham Karthik in Mr. X. Manu Anand, who has previously directed FIR starring Vishnu Vishal, will be directing this action entertainer. Prince Pictures, which will be producing the film, took to social media, to welcome Manju Warrier on board as they posted, “Elated to announce - @ManjuWarrier4 comes onboard #MrX. Manju Warrier too expressed her happiness about joining the project as she added, “Excited to join #MrX.” Her co-star Gautham Karthik also added to the social media platform, “Welcome on-board @ManjuWarrier4 maam, looking forward to working with you!”. Besides her, popular actress Anagha too joined the cast.

With Dhibu Ninan Thomas composing the music, Tanvir Mir has been roped in for the cinematography. Prasanna G.K. will be the editor whereas Silva will be choreographing the stunts for this action entertainer. Last month, the makers had unveiled the motion poster of Mr. X, but they are yet to reveal the release date of the film. However, reports have it that the film will be releasing next year, in 2024.
