Tovino Thomas, whose name has been become synonymous with Minnal Murali, will be seen for the first time in three different roles - Maniyan, Kunjikkelu, and Ajayan in the fantasy action-adventure drama ARM. While the movie is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on Thursday in multiple languages across India, to elevate expectations and hype even further, the makers have announced a special update wherein they have revealed that superstars Mohanlal, Chiyaan Vikram, and Shiva Rajkumar will be a part of this pan India entertainer.
The makers have revealed that Malayalam Megastar Mohanlal has lent his iconic voice as the Cosmic Creator in the film who plays the role of a ‘Sutradhar’ aka narrator. The same role is played by Chiyaan Vikram who has provided his voice for the Tamil version, and Karunada Chakravarthy Shiva Rajkumar has done the same for the Kannada version.
“Their legendary voices have added a whole new dimension to the film, providing a significant boost to a movie that already promises a visual feast on the big screen in 3D. The film promises perfect blend of action, emotion, and a fantasy element,” added a source close to the project. With Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi playing the female leads in the movie, the film also boasts of an ensemble supporting cast that includes Basil Joseph, Jagadeesh, Harish Uthaman, Harish Peradi, Kabir Singh, Pramod Shetty, and Rohini also appear in significant roles.
The screenplay and story is written by Sujith Nambiar with Jomon T. John handling the cinematography, Shameer Muhammed in charge of editing, and Praveen Verma taking care of the costumes. Meanwhile, the music is composed by Dibu Nainan Thomas and lyrics by Manu Manjith, the extensive fight sequences are choreographed under the tutelage of Vikram More and Phoenix Prabhu.
Directed by debutant Jitin Lal and produced by Listin Stephen under the banners Magic Frames and UGM Motion Pictures, with Dr. Zakaria Thomas, ARM is being made entirely in 3D and stands as one of the highest-budget films in the history of Malayalam cinema. The film will be distributed by major industry players, with Hombale Films handling the Kannada release, Mythri Movie Distributors for Telugu, and Anil Thadani for Hindi as it hits cinemas worldwide on September 12.
