Not too long ago, after the makers unveiled the new release date for the next Ravi Teja film, they continued to add to the anticipation by unveiling the new poster of Mr. Bachchan. The film, inspired by true events, features the Telugu star in the role of an income tax officer. He decided to share the teaser with fans who were excited to see what the actor has in store for them. With Bhagyashree Borse as the leading lady, the film is directed by Harish Shankar.

About the teaser

The teaser was unveiled on July 29 and it kicks off with Ravi Teja admiring and attempting to woo a village belle played by Bhagyashree Borse. The teaser gives us a glimpse of the 80s era by using the popular Hum Aapke Hain Koun song ‘Didi Tera Dewar’ in the background and later, it shifts focus on the role played by Ravi which is that of a no-nonsense income tax officer. Readers would be aware that the film is a remake of the 2018 film Raid, starring Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz. But going by the teaser, it seems that the makers of the Telugu film have seasoned it with ample commercial elements like massy action and dramatic sequences. Meanwhile, fans of the Telugu star couldn’t hold their excitement and shared their happiness on the teaser being unveiled.

Based on the real-life incidents that transpired in the early 1980s in the Income Tax raid case of Sardar Inder Singh, Mr Bachchan is written and directed by Harish Shankar. With music by Mickey J. Meyer, cinematography by Ayananka Bose, and art direction by Kolla Avinash, the film is produced under the banner People Media Factory. It is slated for release on August 15, Independence Day, and it is expected to clash with other releases including the Pan India entertainers like Thangalaan and Double Ismart.
