Mrunal Thakur will be making her South debut with the epic love saga titled Sita Ramam. Set against the backdrop of Kashmir, the film showcases a letter bound love tale of an orphaned military officer and a simple yet feisty girl-next-door. The songs showcasing the chemistry between Sita and Ramam has gained a lot of momentum with many appreciating their onscreen pairing. It seems that the off screen actors also share a great off screen camaraderie which is visible in this heartfelt note written by Mrunal for her co-star Dulquer Salmaan on his birthday.

Mrunal Thakur took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note for her co-star Dulquer Salmaan who turned a year older today. It seems that the actress got quite inspired by Sita in her who conversed with her beloved Ram only in letters. Sharing a photo of them together, Mrunal wrote on his birthday saying, “My dear Dulquer, There are many letters exchanged between Sita and Ram but today on your birthday, I would like to pen down my thoughts as Mrunal! I’m not a great writer but I promise this is coming all the way from the bottom of my heart. We met in Kashmir for the first time and that’s when I knew you’d be my macha! Our bond is rare, it has seen its ups and downs but we stuck together!”

She added, “Thank you for helping me with my dialogues on set, thank you for taking care of me and thank you for finding Sita. I have discovered myself on this journey and you play a major role in it, I am a better human today and I’d like to give you credit for it. ?? Thank you thank you and thank you for being so kind and humble- you’re a rare one! Happy birthday fellow Leo! Love, Mrunal Thakur."

Needless to say, her film’s co-star Ram aka Dulquer Salmaan too reciprocated to her note adding, “Sita Garu !! At a rare loss for words. The best present anyone could give me is a letter. And I’ll always hold this one close. SitaRamam has been the most magical journey and it couldn’t have been what it is without you playing sita !! Thank you for being a Macha and Fellow Leo !! ??❤️❤️”

Speaking about Sita Ramam, Rashmika Mandanna too plays a pivotal role in this love saga. The film is expected to release in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam on August 5, 2022.
