Mrunal Thakur reunites with Sita Ramam co-star Dulquer Salmaan in Hyderabad and here’s their reunion selfie

Readers would be aware that Mrunal Thakur is gearing for the debut in South film industry with the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Sita Ramam. The actress has been travelling across the country to promote her forthcoming multi-lingual. And a recent selfie of the actress along with her co-star in Hyderabad has garnered ample attention.

Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan recently attended the song launch of ‘Kaanunna Kalyanam’ from their forthcoming film Sita Ramam. Speaking about her hectic schedule and how she attended the song launch, a source close to the actress said, “The actress has been juggling her shoot schedule by making quick day trips to Hyderabad to promote the film and last evening she was reunited with her co-star Dulquer in Hyderabad where the duo launched the song.”

Further, the source went on to add about her work commitments, saying, “Mrunal has been busy shooting back to back projects and has been on the go for the past quarter. The actress wrapped up Gumraah with Aditya Roy Kapur and immediately started shooting another unannounced project in Delhi.”

Sita Ramam will feature Mrunal as Sita Mahalakshmi whereas Dulquer Salmaan plays the role of Ram, a military official posted in Kashmir. Speaking about her role in the film, Mrunal had said, “Sita is somebody who is extremely gracious and someone who is empathetic, she is kind and humble. And I realised a lot about this empathetic side of the character. Not only that, Sita is extremely decisive, doesn’t wait for someone else to decide for her and is fiercely independent. She knows what she wants and she is immensely romantic and that’s exactly the way I am. So these are the few similarities I could tell you about Sita and my real-life persona.”

Besides the duo, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role and it is slated to release on August 5 in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
