Popular actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, who got engaged last year after dating for seven years, have finally tied the knot on June 9. The couple had a beautiful traditional ceremony at a resort in Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu which was a private affair with only family members and close friends in attendance.
If the reports are anything to go by, the couple will be hosting a wedding reception for 1 lakh people in several parts of Tamil Nadu on June 9 afternoon. The star couple has reportedly arranged the reception at several major temples, orphanages, old age homes and Thiruvannamalai.
Nayanthara and Vignesh fell in love on the sets of their film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015. After dating for over six years and being engaged for one year, the couple got married in Mahabalipuram in Chennai. Celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Boney Kapoor, Rajinikanth, Atlee Kumar among others are in attendance for the ceremony.
