Nikhil Siddhartha, Saiee Manjrekar kick off Ram Charan’s film The India House in Hampi

Directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, The India House is presented by Global Star Ram Caran and is produced by Vikram Reddy and Abhishek Agarwal.

Not too long ago, we had reported that global star Ram Charan is venturing into film production with his banner V Mega Pictures. The actor-turned-producer went on to then announce the first Pan-India film under the banner titled The India House. Latest update on that front is that the team of the film including director Ram Krishna Vamsi, actors Nikhil Siddhartha and Saiee Manjrekar have kicked off the shoot in the picturesque location of Hampi in Karnataka.

Mahurat pooja was held on July 2

The historical romantic drama kicked off the shooting in style in Hampi by organizing a grand mahurat pooja on July 2, post which the shoot will be commencing. Photos of the same were shared on the official handle of the banner V Mega Pictures wherein they were captioned saying, “The spark of the revolution is ignited” and further it read, “#TheIndiaHouse commences on an auspicious note with a pooja ceremony at the Virupaksha Temple, Hampi with the blessings of Lord Shiva”.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan too shared a video on his official social media handle on X, aka Twitter, wherein he also wished the team for the venture. About The India House

Also starring Anupam Kher in a pivotal role, it is a period drama set in 1905 that explores the themes of love and revolution. The film will be seen celebrating the beginning of this remarkable cinematic journey that blends the ocean of love with the fierce spirit of revolution. Speaking of the crew, the makers have hired seasoned technicians for handling different crafts which includes cinematographer Cameron Bryson, production designer Vishal Abani, with casting by Mukesh Chhabra. Written and directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna and produced under the banners of Abhishek Agarwal Arts and V Mega Pictures, the film is co-produced by Mayank Singhaniya.
