Pawan Kalyan tests negative for COVID-19; urges all to follow COVID protocol : Bollywood News

In April, Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan had tested positive for COVID-19 and had isolated himself at his farmhouse outside Hyderabad. After over two weeks, the actor has tested negative and is on the path of complete recovery.

Pawan Kalyan's political party Janasena released a statement regarding their leader's health. The actor had taken an RT-PCR test three days back which came out negative and the doctors who have been treating him said he is healthy and on the path to recovery.

The statement also said that he is facing a mild discomfort which is common to people recovering from COVID-19. The Vakeel Saab actor thanked all his fans, friends and politicians who wished him a speedy recovery. He also requested all to follow COVID-19 protocols.

The actor has been in isolation ever since he returned from the by-election campaign in Tirupati on April 3. Some of his staff members who had participated in the public meeting at Tirupati had tested positive for COVID-19. This was followed by Kalyan experiencing covid related symptoms.

Meanwhile, Kalyan recently made a comeback on the big screen with the film Vakeel Saab which was released on April 9. The film achieved massive success with theatres filling up over the first weekend. The film is an official remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Pink.
