Pooja Hegde’s motto for life reminds fans of Vijay’s speech from Master audio launch- “Thalapathy reference”

Pooja Hegde has some of the biggest projects from the Hindi film industry and the South film industry in her kitty. From Radhe Shyam with Prabhas, to Beast with Vijay to Bhaijaan with Salman Khan, Pooja has an exciting lineup of films. Recently, the actress took a vacation with her family and has been sharing stunning pictures from her time in the Maldives.

On Sunday, Pooja shared a happy picture of herself resting her head on a wooden table while seated on comfortable looking chair. Dressed in a floral printed dress, she happily smiled looking at the camera. She seemed to be posing at a hotel she was staying at which was surrounded by the ocean.

Along with the picture, the actress also shared her motto for life. "Kill them with success - bury them with your smile," she wrote in the caption.

However, the comment section was soon flooded with credits for Thalapathy Vijay. The popular quote reminded fans of Vijay's speech from 2020 during the Master Audio Launch.

“I don’t know if you can call this a story but take it however you want. One of my film’s songs has this line, ‘Ella Pugazhum Oruvan Oruvannuke. Nee Nadhi Pola Odi Kondirru.’ (All glory goes to just one person. You keep marching on like the river.) Just like the song says, a river charts its own course. As it proceeds on its path, some people welcome it with lamps. At another point, some other people welcome it with flowers. The river, unmindful of their welcome, keeps proceeding. At a third point, some people who do not like the river, might play by hurling stones at it. But the river still keeps on proceeding. Just like the river, in our lives too, we will come across people who bow to us in reverence, we will have people who welcome us and there will be people opposing us. We must, like the river, do our job and keep proceeding on our path. Just like what I have said in the lyrics of my song. Life is very short, friend. Always be happy. Problems will come and go, stay chilled. Kill them with your success, bury them with your smile,” he had said in his memorable and impactful speech.

Pooja’s caption soon reminded fans of the same. “Thalapathy reference,” wrote a fan.

“Dialogue of a famous person,” wrote another referring to Vijay.
