Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan starrer Kalki 2898 AD has been winning hearts across the globe and the fans of the Baahubali actor couldn’t be more excited about it. As the sci-fi entertainer is expected to cross the coveted Rs. 1000 crores club, the fans decided to do something special in the name of their idol and lent a helping hand to the underprivileged. Their fond charity work too seems to be garnering much love on social media.

On this occasion, the Vizag City Wide Prabhas Fans Association celebrated its success in Visakhapatnam. Members of the association marked the event by celebrating with orphans with Subbaiah Chaudhary, Head of Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd., as the chief guest. Following the film’s monumental success of grossing Rs. 1000 crores, they cut a cake and distributed it to the children, followed by sweets, books, and stationery.

Praveen, President of the Vizag City Wide Prabhas Fans Association, expressed his joy at Kalki 2898 AD’s achievement of crossing the Rs 1000 crores mark worldwide. In his speech, he expressed his desire to see Prabhas continue to break records and produce more films that entertain and inspire film lovers. Praveen added that that the superstar was delighted about his fans’ gesture to participate in distributing books and sweets to orphans. Alongside him, Prithvi, Nukaraju, Reddy, Shiva, Coconut Grove Raju, and others joined in the celebration.

About Kalki 2898 AD

The sci-fi entertainer, inspired by Indian mythology, revolves around the prophecy of the arrival of modern-day avatar of Vishnu, Kalki. Starring Deepika Padukone as the subject Sumathi, Prabhas as the bounty hunter Bhairava, Amitabh Bachchan as the immortal Ashwattama, and Kamal Haasan as the totalitarian Supreme Yaskin, the film has been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Produced by Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies, it is the first instalment in the Kalki universe.
