Prabhas joins hands with Hanu Raghavapudi for his next; filmmaker calls it an ‘epic saga of war, justice and beyond’

Mythri Movie Makers will be backing the project and the film makers have taken to social media to share photos from the pooja ceremony.

Prabhas, after the success of Kalki 2898 AD as he wraps up work on The Raja Saab, recently attended the pooja ceremony of an all a new project. Promising to be a grand, larger-than-life film, this new untitled venture will be helmed by Sita Ramam filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi along with the prominent production house Mythri Movie Makers backing it.

This film #PrabhasHanu marks the first time collaboration of Prabhas, Hanu Raghavapudi, and Mythri Movie Makers and hence is one of the highly anticipated projects of the coming year. The social media platform of Mythri Movie Makers showcased glimpses of the pooja ceremony that was recently held to kick start work on the film with Prabhas too marking his presence there. Meanwhile, Hanu Raghavapudi who also reposted a few of these photos shared a hint about the film stating, “The DAWN of an Epic Saga Of War, Justice and Beyond”. Hanu, in his post, also expressed gratitude towards Prabhas and the team of the film and added, “Looking forward to having all the love & support as always ?? We hear from sources close to the film that this entertainer will be a historical drama about a warrior whose mission is to bring justice to people of his Mother Land. The Alternate History tale will be set in the 1940’s of a warrior who rises from the shadows, emerging from a society that believes war is the only answer to the buried injustices and forgotten truths that history kept hidden from the world.

Speaking of the rest of the star case, Imanvi has been roped in as the lead actress opposite Prabhas, along with the yesteryear actor Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada also playing pivotal roles. The movie is to be mounted on a high budget with extensive production values, making it a grand affair.

Talking about the rest of the crew, Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar will be bankrolling the project along a team of Sudeep Chatterjee ISC handling the camera, Ramakrishna – Monica in production design, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao as the editor. The music will be composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. While further details are awaited, the film is said to go on floors very soon.
