Prabhas kicks off Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam; makers drop new video

After signing a multi-film deal with the pan India star, Hombale Films has shared another special surprise for Prabhas’ darlings.

While Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire created quite a bit of stir with its release, the film also set the perfect tone for its sequel in its climax. During the same time, the makers went on to announce the second part of this high-octane action drama as Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam. Ever since then, Prabhas’ darlings have been excited to see the next chapter that will unfold in the world of Khansaar. Now, in an exciting update, the makers have finally announced the start of the shoot for Salaar Part 2.

Hombale Films, who announced the multi-film deal with Prabhas, earlier today, took to their social media to share the news about the first film which is a part of this deal - Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam. The makers shared a video on X, aka Twitter, which featured Prabhas as Deva aka Salaar, as it also gives glimpses of Prithviraj Sukumaran as Vardha Raja Mannar, Tinnu Anand as Gaikwad aka Baba, and others. Along with an intense glimpse of the film, the video announced the commencement of the shoot. They further included the caption, "The journey is going to be epic… #Salaar2 begins! #PrabhasXHombal3Films #Prabhas #PrashanthNeel @PrithviOfficial @Vkiragandur @hombalefilms".

Speaking about Salaar, set in the fictional world of Khansaar, the film features a host of stars including Shruti Haasan as Aadya. While it is yet to be seen which characters will mark their return to reprise their respective characters, the film will be directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame. It was earlier revealed that Salaar will be created as a trilogy with the second part Salaar: Part 2 – Shoryaanga Parvam, dealing with the aftermath of Prabhas being revealed as the rightful heir to the throne of Khansaar, the impact it has on the latter’s devoted friendship to Vardha Raja Mannar.
