Prior to kicking off the massive celebrations in Goa, the couple Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Nicholai Sachdev along with their parents hosted a lavish sangeet ceremony and pre-wedding celebrations in Chennai. Considering that Varalaxmi hails from a filmy family, being the daughter of actor-politician Sarathkumar, the ceremony was indeed a star-studded one with many renowned names from the South film industry like megastar Rajinikanth, actress Trisha Krishnan, Meena, Prabhu Deva, among others attended the function.

Amid several photos and videos that found its way online, it is the video of Sarathkumar and Radhika Sarathkumar which has been going viral. The couple, who have also shared in intense chemistry onscreen, decided to showcase their real-life camaraderie on stage and performed on the peppy dance number ‘Rowdy Baby’ originally picturized on Dhanush and Sai Pallavi from the 2018 film Maari 2.

Besides that, other performances included a solo performance of Radhika too on the song ‘Ponmagal Vandaal’. Also, the bride Varalaxmi too grooved to the popular Bollywood track ‘Desi Girl’, originally featuring Priyanka Chopra Jonas from the 2008 film Dostana, with her friends.

About Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Nicholai Sachdev

The couple, who have known each other for over 14 years, briefly dated each other, after which they announced their engagement in March. As for their wedding, it was held on June 2 in Thailand. While Varalaxmi is a popular actress, Nicholai Sachdev is said to be a Mumbai based art gallerist.
