Superstar Rajinikanth is currently on his annual pilgrimage to the Himalayas. This time, amidst the serene beauty of the mountains, a new clip has emerged featuring the actor interacting with a yogi. In the video, Rajinikanth sheds light on the progress of his upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated Vettaiyan and his next venture with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie.

Speaking to ANI from Dehradun airport, he expressed the profound impact these journeys have on him. “Every year, I used to get new experiences that made me continue my spiritual journey again and again,” he said.

Rajinikanth further emphasized the significance of spirituality in a world often grappling with anxieties and uncertainties. “The whole world needs spirituality, as it's important for every human being,” he remarked. He described spirituality as a path to inner peace and tranquility, rooted in a fundamental belief in God.

Rajinikanth provided a much-awaited update on Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel. He confirmed the completion of his filming portions for the project. While shooting for other cast members continues, Vettaiyan is set to hit the theaters on October 10, coinciding with the Dussehra festive season.

Rajinikanth also shared news about his upcoming collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for Coolie. He revealed that filming for this project will commence on June 10. “There's a new picture as well. I start shooting for it from June 10 onwards,” he said.

Meanwhile, Coolie is expected to have an ensemble set of stars. Reports have it that Sivakarthikeyan is said to play a key role in this entertainer. And along with him, names of Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and Shobana are also doing the rounds. However, there has been no confirmation regarding the three popular actors joining the film.

Apart from them, the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander with Girish Gangadaran as the cinematographer, Philomin Raj as the editor, and Sathees Kumar as the art director.
