Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, and Keerthy Suresh starrer Annaatthe resume shooting in Hyderabad. On the superstar's 70th this past weekend, the makers of the film announced that the filming will resume on December 14. The shooting had come to a halt amid the pandemic and lockdown.

Now, the last leg of the shooting revolves around a lot of action and drama. According to a daily, Rajinikanth will be shooting alongside Nayanthara, who plays his wife, and Keerthy Suresh who is essaying the role of his sister in this film. The 45-day schedule is being shot completely indoors at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

Siruthai Siva's directorial did suffer losses amid the pandemic and the delay but the filmmaker is hopeful that fans of Rajinikanth will return to the screens once the film is released. While they are following complete protocols for the safety of everyone, the shoot is indoors and a bio-bubble is created to be strictly followed by everyone. The plan is to complete the project by January and release the film by April 2021.
