National Film Awards took place on Monday where several celebrities from different entertainment industries were awarded for their work. Keerthy Suresh won Best Actress award for her phenomenal performance in Mahanati. Along with her, producer Priyanka Dutt, Ashwin among others received National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for Mahanati.
Rana Daggubati, who had last year praised everyone’s performance in Mahanati, took to Instagram to congratulate Keerthy Suresh and the entire team on their National Award wins. Sharing their photos, Rana wrote, “You make us proud. Congratulations @nag_ashwin, @swapnaduttchalasani, @priyankacdutt and @keerthysureshofficial on winning National Awards for #Mahanati.”
Mahanati stars Keerthy Suresh as Savitri and Dulquer Salmaan as her husband and noted actor Gemini Ganesan. The film also starred Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Devarakonda, Naga Chaitanya, Anushka Shetty, Shalini Pandey, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Krish, Rajendra Prasad, Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and Malavika Nair.
