A recent report by Pinkvilla has shed light on a distressing situation, claiming that the actress has been swindled out of a staggering sum of Rs 80 lakh by her longtime manager.

A source was quoted saying, “There is some chatter about Rashmika being duped of Rs 80 lakh by her manager. Apparently, she didn’t want to create a scene about it. Therefore, she dealt with it on her own by firing her manager,” in a report by Pinkvilla.

Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that Rashmika has maintained silence over the incident.

Coming to the professional front, the 27-year-old actress was last seen in Mission Majnu, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra. Hemled by Shantanu Bagchi, the film was released on Netflix on January 20. Rashmika has an interesting line-up with two big-budget projects in her kitty. She will be next seen in the sequel of the Allu Arjun starrer Puspa: The Rule.

Besides this, she will play the female lead in Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial will be released on August 11, clashing with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.
