Renuka Desai, who was married to actor Pawan Kalyan from 2009 until their separation in 2012, recently addressed a troll's comment about their divorce. The couple shares two children, Akira and Aadhya. Despite it being over a decade since their separation, Renuka continues to face criticism from Pawan's fans.

The stir began when a social media user commented on one of Renuka's Instagram posts, suggesting that she should have been more patient in her marriage with Pawan Kalyan. The comment, originally in Telugu and reported by M9 News, read: “You should have been more patient, sister-in-law. You misunderstood someone like a god. Perhaps now you realise his worth. But I’m glad the kids are with Pawan Kalyan.”

Renuka's response

Renuka, who usually ignores such comments, decided to respond this time. She clarified that it was Pawan Kalyan who left her and remarried, not the other way around. She wrote, “If you had an ounce of intelligence, you wouldn’t make such a foolish comment. He was the one who left me and remarried, not the other way around. Please refrain from such comments; they only torment me.” After this exchange, Renuka deleted the comments and disabled the comment sections on her posts.

Reflecting on the past

Renuka and Pawan's marriage lasted three years before their separation in 2012. Their son, Akira, has been actively supporting his father’s political work, while their daughter, Aadhya, recently joined her father in a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since their separation, Pawan Kalyan has married twice more, with his current wife being Anna Lezhneva. Renuka Desai, on the other hand, has not remarried.
