Rishab Shetty pens a nostalgic note as his crime comedy film Bell Bottom clocks five years of release : Bollywood News

Rishab Shetty gained immense fame with the stupendous success of Kantara and since then, the actor-filmmaker has been on a career high. Now with his past work gaining love too, the multi-faceted artist was celebrating one of his older works. About half a decade ago, his entertainer Bell Bottom hit the big screens and the actor dedicated a special post as it clocked five years of its release.

The crime comedy film helmed by director Jayatheertha features Rishab Shetty in the role of a detective and the actor also received quite a bit of praise for his performance. The film released in the Kannada language, not only received love and praise but also from the audiences of the Hindi belt as they praised Rishab’s performance and the storytelling. On Wednesday, commemorating the fifth anniversary of Bell Bottom, Rishab Shetty took to his social media and jotted the caption in Kannada saying, “It has been five years today that he appeared on the screen wearing 'Bell Bottom' as a detective diva. Thanks again to all who appreciated the film and who made it a milestone in my filmmaking career.” He added, "Thank you for embracing the thrilling ride of Bellbottom and joining Divakar’s adventures! #5YearsForBellbottom".

Set against the backdrop of 1980s, the film features Rishab in the role of a wannabe detective. With Hariprriya as the leading lady, the crime comeduy also stars Achyuth Kumar, Yogaraj Bhat and Pramod Shetty in key supporting roles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rishab Shetty took the fans and the audiences on the devotional ride as he unveiled the first look of the spin-off Kantara: A Legend which is slated to release soon. In fact, it is being said that the actor has already begun shooting for the much-awaited prequel to Kantara: Chapter 1.

Besides being an actor, Rishab Shetty is also a complete family man, and time and again he has proved his love towards his wife Pragathi Shetty, and children.
