Amid rumours of the couple’s alleged patch up, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shut it down by sharing photos were the tattoo is missing.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is currently on a break from film commitments, recently posted a series of photos from a shoot that seems to have created a buzz on social media. And the reason is its connection with the actress’ former husband Naga Chaitanya. Recently, fans of the couple were in for some excitement when rumours were doing the rounds that the two actors are planning to reconcile. However, putting an end to it was her recent photos were many of them spotted the missing tattoo.

For the unversed, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had inked the right side of her ribcage with ‘Chay’ (short form for Naga Chaitanya), which is currently missing from the spot. In a series of photos posted by the Kushi star on social media, she is seen sporting a pink saree with matching blouse, striking different poses, which is when fans found the missing tattoo. On one hand as fans couldn’t stop gushing about her beauty and dropped fire and heart emojis expressing their love for her, on the other, a few wondered about the missing tattoo. ‘Where’s the tattoo’ questioned a few. The tattoo is expected to be quite visible on the rib cage and was seen by many when the actress attended the premiere of Citadel in the US.

For the unversed, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had inked the tattoo as a love dedication to her then husband Naga Chaitanya in 2019. The couple, who were dating for years, tied the knot in 2017 amid family and friends in a grand ceremony in Goa. However, in 2021, they announced their separation due to irreconcilable differences. While there are rumours that Naga Chaitanya is currently dating actress Sobhita Dhulipala, recently it was being said that Samantha and Chaitanya are planning to get back together. However, going by the latest post, and with the otherwise visible tattoo missing, it seems that Chay Sam fans are gearing for another major disappointment.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is gearing up for the release of the highly-awaited series Citadel (India) also co-starring Varun Dhawan, on Amazon Prime Video.
